Fact:

Three out of five women in the South Asian community in the U.S. are victims of domestic violence.

Synopsis:

The South Asian Network (SAN) is a grassroots, community based organization dedicated to advancing the health, empowerment and solidarity of persons of South Asian origin in Southern California. The PSA and documentary raise awareness about the issue of domestic violence and encourage families to seek counseling. The projects were screened at theaters in Southern California that primarily show Bollywood Films and during commercial breaks of Namaste America, America's largest South Asian/Indian television network.
